SAMSoc would like to offer its members the opportunity to apply for funding for welfare-friendly clinical research focussed on improving our understanding, prevention, diagnosis and / or management of conditions affecting dogs and cats.
There is one award up to £5000 being available to cover projects undertaken in the UK which are anticipated to be completed within three years following funding. The funds are to be used for consumables and research expenses.
Projects using experimental animal models or tissues derived from experimental animals will not be funded. Projects without ethical approval will also not be funded.
